The long beach wedding (updated)

Living in the OC my entire life, I don't think I've ever been to long beach. Fortunately I got to shoot a wedding there this past weekend, and it was fantastic.

The Groom (who was great to be around cause he was hilarious) was like this genius, who lives in a family of geniuses, and he met his wife at grad school (who was studying bio chem, and who is also really chill) who is not only also a genius, but looks like a celebrity.

So you get this genius hilarious groom with a beautiful relaxed bride, what a great formula for a wedding.

The forecast was supposed to be overcast, but FORTUNATELY long beach had this great weather (but everywhere around us was overcast) If you look closely at the horizon in the picture above you can see a bunch of clouds.

The wedding was at a hotel right next to the water. And there were flames all around the hotel. It was epic.

Later we took the couple and tried to go onto a "members only" pier, fortunately one of the members saw us and let us in!

It was a 10 hour wedding, but it went by pretty quick. The bridal party was really fun to hang out with and everyone in general was just in good spirits (as they should be, it's a wedding!) I'm grateful I can just hang out with happy people all day and be able to call that work.
