engagement shoot

This picture is really grainy but I love the bokeh

I went on my first engagement shoot yesterday and it was a blast. I got to walk around and take pictures of people kissing all day. We took the couple to a bunch of different sites and the weather was great so we got a lot of good pictures in.

Taken at some old building in pasadena

After we left the city we went to a rattlesnake infested hill in calabasas. Literally you could hear rattles everywhere, it was unnerving and I felt like I was going to die of fear and anxiety. I hope the pictures were worth it haha

As if the snakes weren't enough, we made the couple lay down on the hill haha

We left snake country to go to pepperdine but we made a quick stop to take this picture (the other photographer and I made that bouquet)

And John's school, pepperdine. This reminds me of the windows xp wallpaper

After that we headed the el matador beach. This beach reminds me of PFM and RKWNC, which made me laugh cause there were like a billion other photographers on the beach.

As I was composing the picture above I was looking through the viewfinder on the camera to make sure I compose it well, and I ended up tripping over a rock. I tried to play it off like I meant to sit on it but I guess it doesn't work when your back is on the ground and your feet are in the air.

Overall it was a great experience. I have another engagement shoot tmrw. And a wedding this friday and saturday. What a busy weekend of hanging out with happy people all week.

This particular couple's wedding is really soon (like june or july) and I really hope I get to do their wedding. They were a blast to hang out with.

thank you for reading!
