I went to visit UCR a couple weeks ago and the friends I was visiting kindly took me to Mission Inn. I so deeply regretted not bringing my camera that night, and I made a promise to myself that I would return there one day with the proper camera equipment.
Last friday I was actually supposed to do a lesbian wedding in LA. But through a fortunate mix up my location got switched to the Mission Inn in Riverside, and I was so excited.
The couple was great, the bride was Columbian and she reminded me of Gloria from Modern Family.
Mission Inn is great. In the lobby they have a bunch of portraits on the wall of all the presidents that have stayed there, and there are a lot of portraits.
The architecture of this place is heavily old style spanish influenced which makes it look like we're not in the USA anymore.
I really hope I get to shoot more weddings here. Next time with a ultra wide angle, that would be awesome.
