I'm going to be trying something new this next week. Minimalistic Photography. If you look at today's fashion or technology, (apple is the best example, and then fixed gear bikes) they're all leaning towards a more minimal trend. My biggest reason for doing this actually is my friend John. His birthday passed recent and all he asked for me was for a framed picture. I was complemented by the request, and john being one of my better friends I didn't want to just give him any picture.
If any of you have ever seen John's room you'd notice that it's very clean, immaculate and organized. I wanted to take a picture that matched his room and minimalist photography seemed like the appropriate choice.
Here are some examples I have taken in Japan in 2008. Hopefully i'll get some new ones up soon.
