One of my new years resolutions was to start taking pictures again and work on a new photography portfolio. I bought a lens last week and it's going to help me take some awesome pictures. Ladies and Gentlemen, here is "The Judge"

This is the Canon 35mm f1.4 L series prime lens. But since saying Canon 35mm f1.4 L series prime lens is a mouthful I simply nicknamed this lens "the judge". I got the name from that one scene from Armageddon where the drill gets shredded and Bruce Willis is all like "BRING OUT THE JUDGE"

anyways I wanted to do something like those "one a day" albums. But taking at least one

good picture a day seems unrealistic to me, because i'm inevitably going to be busy one day and i'm not going to be able to take pictures, and then i'm going to feel ashamed of myself for not taking pictures for o

ne day and then one day is going to turn into 1 week and then 2 weeks and so on. So instead of a "one a day" album i'm going set a 300 pictures by the end of this year goal.

Here to start us off with picture number 1. I call this picture "sleepy face"

i'm too lazy to do any photo editing right now, so sorry if it's a little underexposed for your taste.
